As a social entrepreneurship firm, we invest money, time, and in-kind gifts to people and organizations that support underserved and underrepresented women’s leadership and professional success, including:

  • Mentoring, supporting, and amplifying the work of underserved women of color

  • Speaking on and supporting gender diversity and inclusion efforts

  • Supporting nonprofit organizations focused on women’s professional and financial success (see also our Charitable Partners)

  • Serving in leadership roles on advisory boards of organizations that focus on women’s professional and financial success

  • Donating our books to students

  • Sponsoring our Pay-it-Forward Leadership Award program

2021 Triangle Business Journal Corporate Philanthropy Award

For every $1 invested in our business, at least $1 was matched in going back into the community, with a total of 256 donated hours.

 

2022 “Hero Award” from A Lotta Love

For our research group. The award is given “to who have made a significant impact in helping further the A Lotta Love mission”. Our research group received for our paper, “The impact of trauma-informed design on psychological well-being in homeless shelters,” demonstrating the value of A Lotta Love’s mission
