Leadership really comes down to two main things:
Communication and Strategy
Leaders need to know how to communicate effectively to different target audiences for each specific goal. That is a dynamic process that requires leaders to have competencies across multiple skill sets.
Leaders also need to know how to apply their communication efforts strategically, so that their message gets to the right people at the right time.
We provide customized coaching and training to individuals and organizations to meet those demands. And we apply a unique social impact model to our work in order to make a much larger impact in our world.
OUR SERVICES ARE FOR...
Companies & groups who...
...want a customized leadership training program or strategic planning approach focused on preparing employees to better manage transitions, learn the various leadership styles and competencies needs to manage a wide range of complex situations, and develop resiliency.
…are also interested in leveraging their business as a force for good by supporting emerging and underserved women leaders.
Current leaders who....
...want a customized training program, coaching, or focused strategic plan of action to better manage transitions, learn the various leadership styles and competencies needs to manage a wide range of complex situations, and develop resiliency.
…want to give back and help other emerging and underserved women do the same.
...want to identify their strengths, develop a focused strategic plan of action, better manage increasingly complex transitional or organizational demands, or learn the types of leadership styles and competencies necessary to succeed across a wide range of jobs and roles.
…would like to some day pay it forward to support others in their situation.
Our vision is to accelerate the number of women in our communities who step into leadership roles.
We specifically aim to support emerging and underserved women leaders, directly and through their allies, by providing tailored leadership and strategy consulting services to organizations and individuals who support this aim.
We use a Pay-it-Forward model so that clients who receive our services have opportunities to support other emerging and underserved women leaders who may not currently have the same resources.
Services are designed based on a collaborative assessment of needs and can include training, tailored coaching, and leadership development programs. All services incorporate aspects of resiliency and apply best practices in change management principles to leadership and strategic effectiveness.
WHAT SETS US APART
We use business as a force for good.
This is not just another leadership company. This is a company with a purpose and a call to action.
We believe that when we support women in taking on leadership roles in their workplaces and communities, everyone benefits.
By utilizing a Pay-it-Forward model and offering tailored customizable packages, we are able to offer executive level services at price points that fit all needs.
We make a distinct impact in our community and the world by partnering with organizations to provide the support and tools that entry-level and underserved women need to reach their potential as leaders.
2. We apply behavioral and organizational principles to help leaders affect change at work and in their community.
If you don’t want the same pre-packaged over-used leadership training or strategic planning techniques that all the other consulting groups use - the ones that are not based on any good research or specific connection to behavioral change - this is the company for you.
As a company owned by a psychologist who also has extensive leadership and operational management experience, we offer something no other leadership and strategy consulting company can offer: a nuanced, evidence-based approach to leadership using the best methods for what it really takes to make deep, meaningful, resilient, long-lasting individual and organizational change.
We don't compromise on quality.
We’re not shooting from the hip.
We don’t use a one-size-fits-all framework - we know there are important individual and organizational differences that must be identified and taken into consideration in order to develop an effective intervention.
3. Organizations do not have to choose between improving outcomes, increasing the number of women in leadership roles, and making a difference in the world.
Be known as a company who uses business as a force for good, who changes the world through women’s leadership development, and who cares about retaining talented women employees at the earliest possible level of their career with your company.
These are not mutually exclusive ideas. In fact, they are complementary. Each objective supports the others.
WHY WE DO THIS
Most leadership consultants are hired to support only mid- and senior-level women leaders in an organization. This is an important service that needs to be continued as women continue to be underrepresented at the highest levels of leadership (read more in the McKinsey & Company report here).
At the same time, we are not spending enough attention to largest segment of women in our society: those who are early in their careers or transitioning to new roles, may be emerging as new leaders, or represent underserved populations.
That’s 50% of the entry-level workforce!
This large group of women has the potential to make an impact at work and in their community if given the right tools and support.
In addition, all organizations benefit from developing a more resilient and strategic-thinking culture. This doesn’t happen overnight and it doesn’t happen with pre-packaged one-size-fits-all programs.
To make that kind of change and impact, you need a more thoughtfully-developed leadership or strategy coaching and consulting program. Such a program must have the following components:
High-level expertise in behavioral change at individual, team, and organizational levels.
Direct experience serving in management and leadership roles to understand your situation.
Credibility based on extensive knowledge, training, and experience - having a “coaching certificate” or having been a manager in one specific organization is simply not enough to know how to navigate increasingly complex systems and politics.
My passion is to equip companies and leaders with the best tools needed in order to meet their unique goals using the best methods for making that change.
